Vocational Training Centre

For the past ten years, New Life Secondary School has had the privilege of educating and shaping the lives of many young people in our community. But as we’ve listened more closely to the challenges our youth face in today’s Tanzania, we’ve recognised a deeper need, one that education alone does not fully meet.

That’s why we’re now launching the New Life Skills Vocational Training Centre. A place dedicated to equipping young people with practical, hands-on skills to build a brighter, more sustainable future for themselves and their families.

In reality, not every young person has the chance to pursue higher education. Even those who complete school often struggle to find employment. Left without options, many are pushed into vulnerable situations or risky paths simply to survive. Life does not wait for a job offer.

Through training in tailoring, cookery, tourism, gardening, and entrepreneurship, we aim to change that. These are skills with real-world value, skills that can help young people earn a living, contribute to their communities, and live with dignity and purpose.

This isn’t just a shift in strategy. It’s a bold new step towards empowering youth to overcome poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness. We believe this centre will nurture a new generation of skilled, confident, and self-reliant individuals, ready to shape their own future and make a lasting difference across Tanzania.
